by | Mar 13, 2020 | Arts and Entertainment

The 69th Annual Fredericksburg Fine Art Show is open for business this weekend at the Dorothy Hart Community Center. This is the 69th year for the Fredericksburg Fine Arts Show and Sale, and organizers are hoping it will provide a fun diversion this weekend for visitors to the show.

The exhibit features more than 325 pieces from more than 80 artists from around the region. There is plenty of space within the Dorothy Hart Community Center so that visitors will be able to practice social distancing while wandering through the eight different categories of art including acrylic, drawing and pastels, mixed media, oils, watercolor novice, 3-D, and photography.

The show is open Saturday, March 14 from 10am – 6PM and Sunday, March 15 from 12 noon-4PM.

Keeping in mind our community’s public health, all high touch surfaces will be cleaned throughout the weekend. This once-a-year art show is co-sponsored by the Fredericksburg Department of Parks Recreation and Events, the event is a fund raiser for the Woman’s Club of Fredericksburg, which donates a portion of the proceeds from all art purchased during the show to Hazelwild Farm’s Therapeutic Riding program.
