Local, handcrafted beer from 6 Bears & a Goat Brewing Co. (6B&G) will be flowing inside the new Fredericksburg Nationals stadium when the gates open for the inaugural season this year.

The FredNats, the Carolina League affiliate of the Washington Nationals, announced today that 6B&G is the “Official Craft Beer” for the 2020 season.

The brewery will offer a variety of styles of its award-winning beers in the brand new 5,000-seat park near the Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center. And in fun-loving spirit of minor league baseball, 6B&G will brew a special FredNats-branded beer sold only in the stadium and at the brewery located off U.S. 17 in southern Stafford County. Stay tuned for the reveal on this truly unique beer, perfect for a day or evening at the ballpark.

“We are proud to have locally brewed beer at the stadium,” stated Nick Hall, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Fredericksburg Nationals. “6 Bears & a Goat is a fantastic veteran-owned company that has gone above and beyond the call to support this partnership. We can’t wait to work with them during the season on events, creative ideas, and most importantly, delicious beer. ”

“Having played and coached baseball for most of my life, and supported local charitable events that promote the value of learning life skills on the baseball field, I am thrilled about our partnership with the FredNats organization,” stated Mark Faller, founder and managing partner of 6 Bears & a Goat Brewing Company.” The FredNats vision is well aligned with our veteran values … enriching the Fredericksburg community by sharing our passion for local baseball and independent craft beer.”

The FredNats will host a season ticket holder pick-up event at the 6B&G brew house prior to opening day (date TBD). Area residents who have purchased full-season packages can get their tickets, meet members of the FredNats front office staff, and experience some great 6B&G beer, food and hospitality.
