New COVID-19 cases in the region continues to rise

The Rappahannock Area Health District is monitoring a total of 337 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 26 cases within the past 24 hours.

Eileen Sousa with the Health District says the majority of confirmed cases are among adults aged 40-49 at 21.4% and 50-59 at 20.5%.
 
Statewide, 732 new cases of COVID-19 today. That’s the largest one-day increase to date. The previous high was 640 on Tuesday.
