Injured Bald Eagle rescued by Stafford Sheriff’s Office

by | May 27, 2020 | Outdoors

From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:

Sgt. McCall rescued an injured eagle—the nineteenth eagle rescue of his career at the SCSO—that was observed on the railroad tracks in the Widewater area. Sgt. McCall was able to locate the eagle and determined it could not fly due to what he believes to be an injured wing. He successfully captured it and brought it to the shelter. Wildlife centers have been contacted. We are hoping for a speedy recovery!
