The Fredericksburg Tree Giveaway on Saturday distributed one-thousand trees. When the opportunity to get the free trees opened this spring, they were spoken for in less than 24 hours.
The tree pick up became a drive-thru because of the pandemic. Three-thousand trees will be available in the fall. The teammates for this effort: Tree Fredericksburg, Friends of the Rapphannock and Bartlett Tree Experts.
