Chatham Bridge over the Rappahannock River will close at 5 a.m. on Monday, June 22 to allow crews to transform the structure to a wider, smoother roadway along with a separated path for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Message boards for Route 3 Business between Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg are posted.

Chatham Bridge is expected to reopen in October 2021.
