The Rappahannock Area Health District reports two more deaths from COVID-19. Both in Spotsylvania. A Latino man in his 50’s and a black woman in her 80’s have died. That brings the total in the region to 32. Spotsylvania has 19 deaths. It’s not known if the woman lived in a nursing home, At least seven have died at Carriage Hill.
Eileen Sousa with the Health District tells us 31 people are hospitalized. There was an increase of 23 cases in the past 24 hours for a total of 2,211.
