On May 17th at 6:52 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a report that two victims were assaulted at the front gate pond of Lake of the Woods. Upon speaking with two victims at Lake of the Woods Security, it was determined that a white male with a beard in his late 20s, wearing a blue Sturgis Harley Davidson t-shirt, blue jeans, and cowboy boots assaulted the two male victims with a rock. Prior to the assault the suspect was seen in Lake of the Woods with a blonde female, 20-30 years old wearing light blue denim jeans and a black shirt. After the physical encounter, the suspect fled the area.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is seeing help in identifying the person walking across the parking lot in the video, If anyone has any information pertaining to this incident or the identity of the male suspect in the video or his female companion, please contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 540-672-1200 and speak with Investigator Thomas.
