From the Spotsylvania Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:
On July 12, 2020 at approximately 11:45pm the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Emergency
Communications received several 911 calls in reference to reported gun fire in the area of the
6200 block of Oak Grove Drive. Upon arrival, deputies were flagged down by a citizen stating
the residence she was staying in had been shot several times. The home, which had four adults
in it at the time, had been shot numerous times. No occupants were injured. The homeowner
was not present at the time of the shooting. Detectives are still investigating the incident and any
possible motives. The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information to please notify the
Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
