Early morning gunfire in Spotsy hits several homes

From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:

On July 30, 2020 approximately 3:15am a shooting occurred in the area of the 10010 block of Gander Court.

A 31-year-old male called the Spotsylvania Emergency Communications Center stating that two unknown males started shooting at him.  The victim stated that he went to this area to meet a female he had spoken to on a dating website.  Upon arriving, the female approached the victim’s vehicle.  As the two were speaking outside near the victim’s vehicle, two males came from nearby bushes and began shooting at the victim.  The victim was not struck by any of the bullets, however two homes were struck.  The suspects and the female fled the area.

The victim stated that the suspects were black males with their shirts pulled over their face. The female is described as a black female, late teen to early twenties, wearing jeans shorts, gray tank top with braided hair.  Investigation is ongoing.
