CARES Act money available for Caroline County businesses

by | Aug 8, 2020 | Business

From Caroline County:

Caroline County’s Economic Development Authority is accepting applications for CARES Act grants for businesses, and non-profits based in Caroline County. Specific directions and qualifications are listed on the supplied web page (below).

Applications will be accepted until the 17th of August, and all documentation and applications must be filled out to qualify for a grant. Businesses must demonstrate that they have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic at a 25% loss in revenue or more. Failure to fill out applications or provide required documentation will disqualify an application.

Should there be more applications totaling more than the grant funds provided the County by the CARES Act, applications will be selected at random until the funds are exhausted.

Businesses are encouraged to apply as soon as possible by going to the web address:

It is the goal of the Economic Development Authority to distribute the funds within the Month of August 2020.
