Witnesses said they heard several gun shots and at least one witness saw the shooting. The home was occupied at the time of the shooting however there was no injuries.  Witnesses stated that the shooter fled in a gray or silver mid-size truck with orange straps in the tail gate area forming an X.

The suspect is described as a white male, unknown age with blondish hair, between 5’7” to 5’9”. Witnesses said the suspect truck had a female passenger with brunette hair.   Detectives are still currently investigating this latest shooting as well as three other drive-by shootings.

“It has been determined through the investigations that all four shootings in the last several weeks are not related to one another,” said Captain Liz Scott with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.    Captain Scott says none of the shootings were random.   She says each home was targeted for unspecified reasons.
