The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a suspect was arrested for brandishing a weapon at a group trick-or-treating in Stafford on Halloween evening.

Authorities say deputies responded to Jett Street for a report of a brandishing. The adult victims told deputies they were in a group trick-or-treating when they observed a vehicle speeding. One of the victims yelled for the driver to slow down. The driver stopped and got out of his car. He approached the victims and produced a firearm from his waistband before leaving the area.

A deputy obtained the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. The vehicle was located by deputies. 39-year old Donnell Minor was arrested for brandishing.
