The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted robbery early Sunday. The Sherriff’s Office says a man entered the 7-11 at the intersection of Rt. 3 & Rt. 20 (Germanna Hwy/Constitution Hwy). and attempted to rob the clerk by demanding cash. The subject left in a dark colored 4 door sedan, possibly a mid-2000 model Honda Accord traveling East on Rt. 3 towards Spotsylvania.
The suspect is described as a white male with shoulder length brown hair. If anyone has any information to assist in identifying the subject in the photos, please contact the sheriff’s office at the non-emergency number (540) 672-1200 and speak with Investigator Seal.
Orange authorities say the suspect went in to the Sheetz prior to the 7-11 incident–these pictures are from Sheetz.
