Stafford deputies credit child safety seats with protecting children in an accident

From The Stafford Sheriff’s Office:

On December 22 at 7 p.m. Stafford deputies responded to the 1600 block of Poplar Road for a head on accident. The initial investigation revealed a silver Saturn Vue crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a black Honda Pilot. The driver of the Saturn was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver and two children in the Honda were checked by rescue and released. Deputies credit properly installed child safety seats in protecting the two children. The accident is still under investigation.
