A Woodbridge man was arrested Friday afternoon in  North Stafford after allegedly stealing a computer from the Walmart in North Stafford.
At 1:20 p.m. the Stafford Sheriff’s Office was contacted regarding a suspect that had stolen a computer from the Walmart at 217 Garrisonville Road. The suspect fled on foot and dropped the stolen merchandise as he attempted to elude Deputy J.A. Hinson through several parking lots.  The suspect ran across Garrisonville Road, through the McDonalds parking lot and into the carwash next door. While inside the carwash, he attempted to enter a vehicle, but was unsuccessful since the car doors were locked.
The suspect continued to flee west along Garrisonville Road. He was finally taken into custody near American Automotive at 230 Garrisonville Road by three deputies.   The Sheriff’s Office says the neon-colored sweat suit helped follow the suspect during the pursuit.
30-year old Jayshawn Hagler was arrested.   He was already wanted in Prince William for robbery, use of a firearm in a felony and failing to appear in court. Hagler added to his charges with grand larceny in Stafford. He is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
