The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a Fredericksburg man was arrested late Sunday night for DUI.  The Sheriff’s Office says a young child was in the vehicle.   Authorities say a deputy observed a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Kings Highway & Washington Square Plaza. As the light turned green, the officer observed the driver rev the engine,  causing the vehicle’s tires to spin and the vehicle to begin to fish tail.  Deputy Haines caught up to the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
Police say 30-year old Timothy Teti smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. A young child was observed inside the vehicle. Field sobriety tests were administered and Teti was arrested. He was charged with driving under the influence, child endangerment, and reckless driving. Teti was held on a $1,500 secured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
