Flags are being flown at half-staff today across Virginia. Governor Ralph Northam issued the order to honor the victims of the Virginia Tech shooting, their families and the VA-Tech community. It was back in 2007 that a gunman opened fire in two buildings on the Blacksburg campus, killing 32 people before taking his own life. Flags may return to full-staff at sunset this evening.
