From the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board:

Parenting can be challenging in the best of times. A global pandemic adds new hurdles while isolating many parents from their usual supports. Rappahannock Area Community Services Board offers virtual Parenting Check-Ins to help caregivers.

Each month, the prevention services team will tackle a different topic impacting families. Each session is free and family activity bags will be available afterward, through scheduled contactless pickup.

The upcoming sessions will start at 6:30 p.m. and include:

  • May 12, Building Your Parenting Tribe
  • June 16, Not a Choice for Me: Talking with Kids about Substances
  • July 14, Parenting Frustrations
  • Aug. 14, Supporting Transitions
