I-95 North delays in Caroline tonight

by | May 14, 2021 | Traffic

Drivers should anticipate major delays on Interstate 95 northbound Friday night for a pavement repair work zone in Caroline County.   Starting at 7 p.m., I-95 northbound will be reduced to a single lane north of exit 104 (Route 207/Carmel Church) until 5 a.m. Saturday.

Crews will be alternating double lane closures to safely complete the work between mile markers 107-108, near the I-95 Northbound Safety Rest Area and Welcome Center at Ladysmith.

Northbound travelers are encouraged to consider using I-95 exit 104 and traveling along Route 207 and Route 301 as an alternate route to avoid delays.

Overhead message boards will be posted along I-95 northbound to alert motorists to delays ahead.
