Car into business at Boswell’s Corner in Stafford

From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:

At 8:13 Saturday morning Deputy B.E. Vaughn attempted to stop a reckless driver traveling 87 mph in a 45 mph zone. The driver attempted to elude the deputy and ran a red light at Boswells Corner. The driver crashed into a business in the 3900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

The driver attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended. He is being evaluated for injuries from the accident. No deputies or citizens were injured.

Deputies will be seeking warrants for felony eluding, DUI, driving revoked and reckless driving. Further information will be provided after warrants have been obtained and served.
