R-Board waives fees for yard debris disposal

by | Jul 30, 2021 | Government

The Rappahannock Regional Solid Waste Management Board (R-Board) will temporarily waive fees for yard debris disposal from residents beginning today, July 30, 2021, at the Regional Landfill.

Stafford County has experienced recent violent thunderstorms with high winds, causing many trees and limbs to fall. This relief will continue into the following weekend, with the R-Board evaluating the continued need.

The R-Board wants to assist residents with clean-up activities. The waiver applies only to the disposal by residents, not commercial firms, and is only in effect at the Eskimo Hill site.
