Don’t be alarmed if you receive an emergency alert on your phone this afternoon. That’s because FEMA is conducting a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System. The alerts will also be conducted on radio and TV. Virginians should expect the alerts right around 2:20 this afternoon.
