by | Sep 25, 2021 | Police and Fire

From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:

On September 23 at 8:16 p.m., Deputy B.M. Taylor responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Joshua Road and St. Georges Drive.

The investigation revealed the juvenile driver went onto the right shoulder, overcorrected and overturned on the opposite shoulder. A friend of the driver witnessed the crash and stopped to assist. The friend broke the overturned vehicle window and assisted the driver out as the vehicle caught fire.

The driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation for what appeared to be minor injuries. Thank you to this witness for his quick actions to prevent a more serious outcome.
