VDOT work on Gordon Road in Spotsy today and tomorrow

From VDOT:

Travelers on Route 627 (Gordon Road) in Spotsylvania County may encounter brief daytime delays on Monday, Oct. 4, and Tuesday, Oct. 5, for spot pavement repair.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are repairing two sections of pavement on Gordon Road, between Chancellor Drive and Salem Fields Boulevard, and between Crystal Lake Drive and Lakeland Way.

Gordon Road will be reduced to a single travel lane in the affected areas between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, weather permitting. If weather cancels work on Monday or Tuesday, the work will be rescheduled to occur at the same time on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

Crews will direct one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone.
