VDOT spent much of Tuesday getting ready to open the new I-95 southbound bridge over the Rappahannock. A new traffic pattern will shift traffic 95-S from Stafford County to Fredericksburg. VDOT expects the new pattern to be in place sometime Tuesday afternoon. This project is finishing up five months early. Building another northbound bridge is next.
