Fredericksburg Regional Transit begins earlier morning service on October 18th

From the City of Fredericksburg:

Fredericksburg Regional Transit will commence earlier morning service on select routes beginning Monday, October 18th.  FRED will add an additional hour of service to nine (9) routes; including, D1, D2, D3, F2, F3, F4, S1, S4, and S5.

“The launch of expanded service hours on select routes will allow many of our riders’ the ability to get to work, school and appointments at times that better reflect arrival at normal business hours,” says Jamie Jackson, Director of Transit and Transportation. This is another exciting milestone for improving customers’ experience on the region’s public transit system and allows more accessibility to transit customers throughout Fredericksburg Regional Transit’s service area.”

FRED will add an additional hour of morning service to nine (9) routes which will commence service at the following times:

  • D1: First Trip Begins 8:00 AM
  • D2: First Trip Begins 7:00 AM
  • F2: First Trip Begins 6:30 AM
  • F3: First Trip Begins 6:30 AM
  • F4: First Trip Begins 6:30 AM
  • F5: First Trip Begins 7:30 AM
  • S1: First Trip Begins 7:00 AM
  • S4: First Trip Begins 7:00 AM
  • S5: First Trip Begins 7:00 AM
