Fall Foliage Report for Virginia State Parks
Welcome to our fall foliage report for 2021. Each week we will be taking pictures at various parks and highlighting them below. The parks will also be sharing the conditions of the leaf color.
For the week of Oct. 25, 2021, we are excited for park visitors to take a peek at the fall foliage escalating throughout most of our parks by now! The western and central parks have really started to show off autumn colors. Reds, oranges and yellows are peppering the trees, though we still have some green holding on. On the coast, late-season flowers and shrubs have started to show color. Cooler nights and seasonal rainfall will continue to turn the leaves throughout our parks.
