Over forty local high school students volunteered to plant about 500 mostly native shrubs, creating a grand entrance to the Fredericksburg Nationals Stadium this past Saturday morning.  Many family members joined their students, as well a few other civic minded volunteers. With the guidance of more than a dozen Tree Stewards, in just 3 hours, all the shrubs were safely planted, many around the parking lots and on the side of the stadium as well. Tree Fredericksburg provided this amazing opportunity for close to 70 volunteers to join forces to help improve the environment around the stadium.
