Central Rappahannock Regional Library has free rapid at-home COVID-19 tests at curbside pickup

by | Nov 26, 2021 | Health & Wellness

From the Central Rappahannock Regional Library:

The public can pick up free, rapid at-home COVID-19 Antigen test kits through curbside pickup at any library branch. Kits are not available at Towne Centre, Fried Center, or IdeaSpace. These easy-to-use kits are for use at home. Each kit is labeled with instructions and an expiration date. It should only take 15 minutes to know your status and receive a digital result. For any questions about using the test, interpreting the results, or what to do next, contact your healthcare provider or the Virginia Department of Health at www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid19testing or 1-877-829-4682.

To use a test kit, you need the following:

  • Valid picture ID*
  • Internet connection
  • Access to camera and microphone through phone or computer

*Neither a picture ID nor a CRRL library card is required to pick up a test kit.

To reserve a kit for curbside pickup, go to librarypoint.org/ask to request via email, chat or phone. If contacting via phone, select your branch from the menu.

Library staff cannot assist with administering tests. Please do not come into the library to pick up a COVID test kit if you are experiencing symptoms.

This pilot program is made possible by a partnership with the Virginia Department of Health.
