From MWHC--COVID hospitalizations at Stafford and Mary Washington Hospitals as of 10 a.m. today. We are over capacity in our medical/surgical wards and ICUs. You will notice that our fully vaccinated patients are now colored blue to better differentiate them from patients who have received booster shots. All but 6 of the full vaccinated patients were eligible for boosters and haven’t received them yet. Getting a booster is the best protection against severe COVID-19 infection.
As a reminder, if you are in need of a COVID-19 test and are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms, please do not come to the emergency room.
