The Spotsylvania School Board appointed Dr. Carol Flenard as the acting superintendent until an interim superintendent is selected. The vote was unanimous. The Board met in closed session for about 90 minutes. School Board member Rita Daniels was absent.
Unlike the chaotic meeting earlier in the week, this time Board Chairman Kirk Twigg followed Roberts Rules of Order.
