by | Feb 16, 2022 | Politics & Elections

No official winner yet in the special election for the Livingston District seat on the Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors.  Jacob Lane leads Raymond Bell by 88 votes.  Potential mail-in ballots can still be counted until Friday.  But they must have a post date of Tuesday.   Elections officials say the results should be known by Friday afternoon.

The election was necessary because of of the death late last year of Supervisors Barry Jett.  The winner will serve the remainder of the term thru 2023.
