Fireworks lit up the South Stafford skies, music by the Lester Lanin Orchestra, and dancing! All to celebrate the Centennial of The George Washington Foundation. One hundred years ago a group of women led the effort to save Kenmore in downtown Fredericksburg. In the late 90’s, George’ Washington’s boyhood home at Ferry Farm was saved.
