Detour planned on Meadow Lane in Stafford beginning this Monday

by | May 1, 2022 | Traffic

Meadow Lane in Stafford County will be closed to through traffic for approximately two weeks in May, beginning Monday.   Meadow Lane will be closed to through traffic between Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) and Lark Lane, with a full road closure for approximately 120 feet immediately north of the Garrisonville Road intersection.

The road is closing to allow crews working on a commercial development project to connect with sewer lines.

The road closure is anticipated to remain in place through Friday, May 13, weather permitting. Signs will be posted to guide motorists along the detour route, which is less than one mile.  Residents and businesses will have access to driveway entrances at all times.   A message board is posted to alert travelers to this upcoming road closure and detour.
