From the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association:

A number of top Christian bands are slated to take the stage on Saturday, June 25, at the Rappahannock Area Celebration with Will Graham. The event – which is free, family friendly, and open to everybody – will be held at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center.

The Rappahannock Area Celebration will be headlined by Newsboys, one of the most influential bands in Christian music history. Newsboys have had four Grammy nominations, two American Music Award nominations, and 33 No. 1 radio hits, including signature songs such as “God’s Not Dead,” “Shine,” “We Believe,” and “He Reigns.”

Newsboys will be joined by Rend Collective, a Christian folk rock worship band originating from Northern Ireland. The Dove Award-nominated group is well known for their unique sound and their hit songs, including “Build Your Kingdom Here” and “My Lighthouse.”

Praise and worship leader Aaron Shust – a mainstay at Will Graham Celebration events – will also perform at the Rappahannock Area Celebration. Shust has received the Dove Award’s New Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Song of the Year commendations. “I’m not writing things just for one guy to stand onstage and sing,” said Shust, “but for worshipers to sing together.”

In addition to the music, evangelist Will Graham will share a message of hope in Jesus Christ at the Rappahannock Area Celebration.

“Newsboys, Rend Collective and Aaron Shust represent an incredible group of artists, and we’re blessed to have them with us in Fredericksburg,” said Bob Hickling, who is directing the Rappahannock Area Celebration on behalf of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “The concerts are free and open to everybody. You don’t need a ticket to get in. Just invite your friends, come early to get a good seat, and enjoy watching some of the most-decorated bands in Christian music.”

In addition to the evening Celebration event, a special program for children and families will take place the morning of Saturday, June 25, at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center. KidzFest will feature music by children’s performer Go Fish, an interactive video Gospel presentation called The Quest, and a message of hope from Will Graham. The one-hour event will be followed by bounce houses, face painting and games.
