James Monroe High School has named Marcus Petty the new principal.  He comes to the City from Charles City County. City Schools also looking for a new principal at Walker-Grant Middle School.

Meantime, the City Fire Department has named Johnny Leach as Battalion Chief.  He’s been a longtime city firefighter.  His father was a longtime Spotsylvania fireman.
