13 fatal crashes in Stafford so far this year

by | Aug 10, 2022 | Police and Fire

From the Stafford Sheriff’s Office:

Stop!
So far this year, there have been thirteen fatal crashes. This time last year, there were only five. Stafford County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Safety Unit identified the primary factors being speeding, not wearing a seatbelt, and distracted driving. It is now even more dangerous with school starting. To protect yourself, as well as the community, please wear a seatbelt, obey the speed limit, put down the phone, and keep an eye out for buses and students. Thirteen fatalities is thirteen too many.
