Stafford firefighter wins gold in international games
From Stafford Fire and Rescue:
Please join us in congratulating Lt. B. Kline on his four gold medals at the World Police and Fire Games in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Lt. Kline competed in the ultimate firefighter challenge as well as large bore shooting. In large bore shooting, he took both gold medals in his division for the individual events and two gold medals in the team events, which were made up of firefighters from around the world, and just up the street!
If anyone was wondering whether the bond of firefighters extends beyond country borders, it does. Also, if anyone has ever traveled internationally, you know that there is a lot of paperwork involved, and things don’t always go as planned, especially when traveling with a firearm. SCFRD and Lt. Kline would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department Lt. N. Heufelder who was also traveling to participate in the World Police and Fire Games and loaned his firearm to Lt. Kline last minute and made sure Lt. Kline had everything he needed so he could compete.
