The kindergarten class at Widewater Elementary School was surprised last week by two soldiers from the U.S. Army Caisson Platoon, HHC, 1st Bn, 3d Inf Regt. The school submitted names for the platoon’s new horse, and the kindergarten class won with “Gunther.”
CW3 Eich and Specialist Emery visited the school, presented the kindergarteners with a plaque, and answered a few special questions about Gunther.
