From the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office:
On Friday, credit card skimmer was removed from pump 7 at Valero FasMart on 5022 Plank Road. It was reported the skimmer was placed within the last 24 hours. All other pumps were checked and no other devices were located.
If you used pump number 7, take appropriate actions with your financial institution to avoid a compromised credit/debit card.
If you have used this pump and have fraudulent transactions, contact the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office at 540-582-7115.
If you have any information regarding the placement of this device or suspicious activity around the pump, please contact the Sheriff’s Office.
