The King George Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday. First Sgt. Kecia Wharton says authorities executed a search warrant and arrested 50-year-old Bernard Lavin III, of King George, for Possession of Child Pornography.
In December, detectives opened an investigation into Lavin after receiving a child pornography complaint. The investigation revealed that Lavin, a registered sex offender, was in possession of child pornography leading detectives to obtain the charges against him.
Wharton says Lavin is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
