The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office says that on Thursday the Orange Sheriff’s Office responded to the death of Sidney Cramer of Lake of the Woods. . As a result of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of 23-year old Christopher Rodriguez of Spotsylvania for Possession with Intent to Distribute and Manslaughter.
Major Troy Skebo with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office says Orange County Investigators met with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit who assisted with the warrant services. A traffic stop was conducted in Spotsylvania on a vehicle occupied by Rodriguez. A search warrant was later secured for the vehicle..
The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 5 pounds 4 ounces of marijuana, 2 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, 17 grams of fentanyl, 13 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of MDMA, over $2,000 in cash and multiple unknown substances suspected to be drugs. Rodriguez was incarcerated under no bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. This investigation is still ongoing by both Orange County and Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
