Etaf Rum, author of the New York Times bestselling novel “A Woman is No Man,” and her latest book, “Evil Eye,” will be the guest Thursday at 7 p.m during a free, online Germanna Community Conversations event.
The title of her talk is “Embracing Authenticity and Finding the Truth Within.”.
“A Woman is No Man” tells the stories of three generations of Palestinian-American women in contemporary Brooklyn dealing with the strict mores of traditional Arab culture.
The event is free and open to the public, but requires registration at Germanna.edu/Conversations.
