Honoring Mary Washington Event

What: Honor the life of a remarkable woman on the 229th anniversary of her death. Learn about 18th century mourning traditions in a special after hours tour of her home, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at her monument on Washington Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
Where: The Mary Washington House, 1200 Charles St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
When: August 25, 2018; 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Price: $10 for the general public, and $8 for members. Members should call to receive their discount. Reservations are requested via email.
