James Monroe Museum Director Scott Harris will present ‘Revolutionary Idealist: the Life and Legacy of James Monroe.’ Registration is required and will open one month prior to the scheduled lecture. If you are unable to attend, a live stream of the event will be available through the Mary Talks site. Online viewers will be able to submit questions via Twitter by using the hashtag #UMWMaryTalks
What are Mary Talks? Mary Talks are lectures and insightful discussions with Mary Washington’s outstanding faculty and administrators. Local alumni, parents, and friends are invited to experience these lectures in the beautiful Hurley Convergence Center digital auditorium. These lectures will also be webcast simultaneously around the globe, allowing alumni, parents, and friends outside of the area to engage in the educational experience that makes Mary Washington one of the best public liberal arts institutions in the country.
