Legacy Distinctive Home Accents at 800 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg has begun its closing sale.

Owner Barbara Bartz is merging some of her home accents store into Lady Legacy, the women’s fashion store she opened in 2015 at 723 Caroline St.

Many of the items in Legacy are discounted, and some of the store’s fixtures are for sale.

Bartz will continue to carry some brands — including Crabtree & Evelyn and the Thymes fragrance collection — at Lady Legacy. She hopes to complete the move to one store by early February.

Latitudes Fair Trade Store will move from its 806 Caroline St. location into 800 Caroline St., once Legacy’s move is complete. Lee and Terry Owsley, who also own stores in Warrenton and Staunton, opened their Fredericksburg location in 2014.
