Germanna Community College Gladys P. Todd graduates from James Monroe and Spotsylvania high schools were awarded their associates degrees May 15 before graduating from high school next month.

The Culpeper business leader and philanthropist will be awarded an honorary degree as 519 grads receive over 900 degrees and certificates at Germanna’s Spring Commencement ceremony Tuesday night at 7 at UMW’s Anderson Center.

While 10By10 was awarded top prize by the judges at Startup Weekend Fredericksburg 3, Lights By Paul garnered three honors.
The audience raved about the “cutest gingerbread men ever,” and the lighted-holiday decoration business received the most votes to earn “Crowd Favorite.”
The coaches of Startup Weekend gave Glancy and his team the “Kumbaya Award” for working happiest together.
