Fredericksburg’s Liberty Pawnshop & Gold Agrees to Refund Customers

Liberty Pawnshop & Gold, LLC, reached an agreement March 11 with the Commonwealth of Virginia related to state motor vehicle title loan violations.
The Fredericksburg area pawn shop agreed to give refunds as part of the settlement.
Liberty made at least 54 motor vehicle title loans without a valid license between August 8, 2011, and February 23, 2013, according to Attorney General Mark Herring. The company also charged interest in a way that broke the law.
Fredericksburg Housing Sales Down

Housing sales in Fredericksburg (22401) were down in August 2014 over the same period a year ago, according to statistics released by RealEstate Business Intelligence, LLC.
