Our pilsner is a no-frills kind of beer. Clean, crisp, and refreshing, we hopped this beer with just enough Czech Saaz Hops to lend a pleasant hoppiness, with subtle notes of cracked pepper. Pilsners require exacting precision, which as any carpenter knows, is as “simple” as following the rule of 3-4-5. Bronze Medal – US Open Beer Championship

Named by the great people of Fredericksburg, this Belgian-Style Blonde Ale is the perfect fit for all occasions. This crisp beer gets a slight toastiness from European Aromatic and Pilsner malts. Our Belgian yeast shines through lending notes of pear, banana and undertones of spices. 2016 GABF Bronze Medal Winner

Haaaaave you met Jeff?? Our awesome new Head Brewer! He brings 20 years of leadership experience to Spencer Devon Brewing. He was most recently a brewer at Lanikai Brewing Company, in Kailua, HI. ​Jeff’s goal is to continue to brew high quality beer using locally sourced ingredients when available. He is also working with Executive Chef Tommy Abbott to brew beer that complements the restaurant’s menu. “Brewing great tasting, quality beer is my number one priority. I have a passion for craft beer, and it’s one of the things that fuels my enthusiasm each and every day. I also feel the culinary aspect and potential of beer with food is the future of craft beer.”-Jeff This brew is a hazy straw yellow with white head. The nose is all banana. The taste begins with a light banana sweetness that gives way to tart lemon. Banana returns on the finish with a touch of clove and lingering dryness with light body. Overall this brew is an American take on a hefeweizen, hence JEFFEWEIZEN!

A bold, full bodied dark ale, our porter was brewed as a nod to tradition and experimentation. You’ll notice bold aromas of dark chocolate and coffee. These dark roasted flavors carry through, with spicy rye adding a tingling depth to the palate. The finish brings notes of bitter dark chocolate, with a pleasant dryness that brings you back for another sip. We made this batch by adding cold-brewed Rick’s Roasters coffee post fermentation. Sourced from a family run farm, Finca del Cerro, in Honduras.
